Many times, we have individual props that we want to just light-up. This might be a static figure that you don't want to sequence. Join us as we use the States Effect to create a simple “on” state for your props. This is a great technique for adding clean and simple look, perhaps during a static set between sequences or after your animated show schedule is over. We’ll walk through how to set up a state, apply them to your models, and use them effectively in your sequence.

Below is the list and order to place your model groups into when setting up your Master View for a PPD Sequence Mapping. This is the next step you need to complete after setting up your groups in your home layout. If you haven't yet completed your group setup, you can find the information to do so in this link:
https://pixelprodisplays.com/step-1-ppd-group-setup-in-xlights/

You will need to create a View, we call ours "New Master", in the Display Elements box. It's best to name this View your PPD Master view. You will use this view upon completion of your sequence mapping session.

Apply a Faces Effect to Your Singing Coro Props — In Under 60 Seconds!

If you’ve ever imported a sequence only to discover it doesn’t include a coro face model, this quick tutorial is exactly what you need. In this short video, we walk you through the simple process of applying a Faces effect directly to your own singing prop—perfect for sequences that include lyric tracks but don’t have a compatible coro face to map over.

You’ll learn how to place your face model into the layout, apply the facial movements, and manually assign lyric tracks to each of your singing props. It’s a fast, practical way to get your characters singing correctly, even when working with third-party or non-face-specific sequences.
